The RunGopher extension adds buttons to the HubSpot Contact page so that you can:
- Manage your current RunGopher conversation for this contact.
- Send an SMS.
- Arrange a meeting via SMS.
- Add this contact to a particular RunGopher campaign.
- Add a whole list of contacts to a particular RunGopher campaign.
Manage your current RunGopher conversation for this contact:
Click 'Manage Conversation' on the RunGopher extension to see the current RunGopher conversation history for this contact and easily send SMS replies.
Adding contacts
Before attempting to uploading HubSpot contacts, you should make sure that they have all of these properties set:
- First name
- Last name
- Phone number
- Street address (if you are running any address related campaign)
- Email (if you are running any email related campaign)
Some campaigns need campaign fields to be filled in before you can send. These will be clearly indicated after you choose the campaign that you want to use. Once you give the required information, the Send or Upload List button will be enabled.
When you send any SMS through RunGopher, the SMS history will be stored as HubSpot Notes and any opt-outs will be captured and recorded.
Send SMS
To send a quick SMS to a contact, just click 'Send SMS' on the RunGopher extension. Then in the popup, pick your campaign type, enter your message and press Send.
If you'd like to receive emails when someone replies then turn on transition emails and enter your email before you click Send.
Schedule a Meeting
Before scheduling a meeting you'll need to make sure that you've connected your calendar with RunGopher, and created an SMS Meeting template from Quick SMS > Templates.
To schedule a meeting with a contact via SMS, just click 'Schedule A Meeting' on the RunGopher extension. Then in the popup, pick a pre-configured template, edit your message (and settings if required), then press Send.
When the contact replies, all conversation history will be stored in HubSpot and once they've agreed a time for you to meet, the meeting will be added to your calendar.
Add a contact to a particular RunGopher campaign:
Just click 'Add To Campaign' on the RunGopher Extension. Then in the popup, choose the RunGopher campaign you want and press Send.
At this point, the HubSpot contact will be added to the chosen RunGopher campaign and sent.
Add a whole list of contacts to a particular RunGopher campaign.
Click 'Add List To Campaign' on the RunGopher Extension. In the popup, choose the RunGopher campaign you'd like to upload to. Then choose the HubSpot list that you'd like to use and click Upload List.
Once you click upload, all the contacts in the chosen HubSpot list will be added to the chosen RunGopher campaign and sent. RunGopher message history will be stored as HubSpot Notes and any opt-outs will be captured and recorded.
